Daughter are an English indie folk band originating from London in 2010. Originally the solo work of Elena Tonra, they are now a trio with the addition of guitarist Igor Haefeli and drummer Remi Aguilella. After releasing three EPs in 2010 and 2011, they were signed by 4AD and are set to release their first full-length album, If You Leave, in March 2013.
They will be live on stage in Istanbul on April 2nd (tomorrow) at 9.30 pm. The Scandinavian and British jazz band Phronesis will visit Istanbul in a couple of days. They have the ability to excite,
inspire and move people in a way that few bands are able to do. Led by
London-based Danish double-bass player Jasper Høiby, their charismatic
live performances have captured the hearts and minds of audiences
worldwide and prompted Jon Newey (Editor of Jazzwise Magazine) to
describe them as “the most exciting and imaginative piano trio since
EST”.

Nils Landgren is a famous trombone player born 1956 in Sweden. He was a member of the group "Blue Swede" - you might rember their number one hit "Hooked on a feeling". Although he released his first solo album "Planet Rock"
back in 1983 his international breakthrough began 1994 when he founded the "Funk Unit" with his companions playing a gig in Germany.
Nils Landgren and his Funk Unit will be on stage in Istanbul on November 23rd at Ghetto. Tickets for this week's concert are available as usual at Biletix for a price of 71 TL including service charges.
The Ex are an underground band from the Netherlands that formed in 1979 at the height of the original punk explosion. Initially known as an anarcho-punk band, they have since released over 20 full length albums of musical experiments and
numerous collaborations blending punk and free jazz with styles of folk music from all over the world. The Ex will be live on stage in Istanbul on October 18th 9.30 pm at Ghetto. You can get tickets at biletix from 28.50 - 38.50 TL.
Sharon Van Etten is an American singer-songwriter based in Brooklyn, New York City. NPR Music says: "Her songs are heartfelt without being overly earnest; her poetry is plainspoken but not overt, and her elegant voice is wrapped in enough rasp and sorrow to keep from sounding too pure or confident."

Leonard Albert "Lenny" Kravitz is an American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. In addition to singing lead and backing vocals, Kravitz often plays all the guitar, bass, drums, keyboards and percussion himself when recording. He is known for his elaborate stage performances and music videos.

Leslie Feist is a Canadian singer-songwriter, performing both as a solo artist and as a member of the indie rock group Broken Social Scene. Feist received three Juno awards at the 2012 ceremony:
Artist of the Year, Adult Alternative Album of the Year for Metals, and Music DVD of the Year for her documentary Look at What the Light Did Now.

Erica Abi Wright, better known by her stage name Erykah Badu, is a singer-songwriter, record producer, activist and actress. Her work includes elements from R&B, hip hop and jazz. She is best known for her role in the rise of the neo soul sub-genre, and for her eccentric, cerebral musical stylings and sense of fashion.
