Nils Landgren is a famous trombone player born 1956 in Sweden. He was a member of the group "Blue Swede" - you might rember their number one hit "Hooked on a feeling". Although he released his first solo album "Planet Rock"
back in 1983 his international breakthrough began 1994 when he founded the "Funk Unit" with his companions playing a gig in Germany.
Nils Landgren and his Funk Unit will be on stage in Istanbul on November 23rd at Ghetto. Tickets for this week's concert are available as usual at Biletix for a price of 71 TL including service charges.
If you like Jazz and Funk, you definately shouldn't miss this concert. It's one of the rare opportunities to see a master life, though Ghetto with its medium class acoustic might not be the best venue for a high class concert like this, we are sure you'll enjoy the venue's great atmosphere beneath this concert.
We recommend to position yourself in the middle of the stage floor - as nice as the upper floor looks - you will just loose too much sound up there.
